FILM FOCUS: PARANORMAL ACTIVITY

Last Friday we randomly decided to goto the cinema after a good Nandos :D

I never knew that Paranormal Activity was out here in the UK as I only saw it advertised on the internet for america.

Its scary as fuck! I know that there will be many critics complaining on the "Blair Witch" style narrative and filming but it really is nicely done. It follows a couple who stick together as the girlfriend discovers that an evil entity is following and tourmenting her. It is full of bumps, jumps and tension building moments. Each night is recorded and as soon as the camera slows down, you know you want to put your face down, and study that popcorn infront of you a little harder.

Despite a quick ending, the film is cleverly done so all seems very real and true to life. With very little effects to make you say "Argh that would never happen" makes the whole expearience worth it!

I rate it 8n a half out of 10!
