FILM REVIEW: AVATAR...

James Cameron brings us a science fiction epic starring Sam Worthington, Zoe Saldana and Sigourney Weaver (among others of course), whereby in the year 2154 in the Alpha Centuri star system a lot is goin' down on the moon - Pandora...

I dont want to spoil it for those of you who haven't seen it so I will keep the plot brief...

Humans plan to mine Pandora's reserve's of a special mineral that is worth a few...lol
The Na'vi's (the race that live on pandora) will do anything to protect it, so the humans use science to create Avatars to go into Pandora and to reasearch the tribe and the minerals...

However one particular human falls in love with one of the Na'vi's which causes problems....

and I will end it there lol...




WOW...This film BLEW MY MIND....even after it finished...I was still sat in my chair in dis-beleif...It deserves all the hype it gets and if anyone cannot appreciate the story line, then they should appreciate how aesthetically pleasing it is to watch.

The colours and detail that went in to the film were amazing and seemed so real, from the veins on thier blue skin to the detail on every leaf - if only something so beautiful exsisted eh!



I've heard mixed reactions from different people - from it being a copy of Fern Gully (which is quite a fair comment but Fern Gully aint got sh*t on Avatar lol) to it being over hyped. Either way it is DEFINATELY worth goin to see and I would 100% reccomend it! I would say it is one of my favourite films!
